Hi! We're Emberfox Studios — a studio in Madison, Wisconsin specializing in custom, sustainable gear to elevate pet play and furry experiences. We blend artisan crafting with ethical sourcing, meaning most items are handmade in-studio — and for those we can’t make ourselves, we partner with U.S. manufacturers whenever possible that share our commitment to fair practices and environmental stewardship.

Our focus is quality, sustainability, and affordability — all while supporting local makers and ethical supply chains.

Ash (they/them) is our main artist, and this is their full-time job. They do 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC routing, hand woodworking, vector artwork, and whatever else takes their fancy! As an autistic and disabled creator, sensory experience and accessibility are core considerations in their design process. They prioritize comfort, durability, and thoughtful construction so their gear feels as good as it looks.

Rosko (he/him) is our master chainmaille creator. With tens of thousands of rings closed, his quality craftmanship creates smooth and beautiful pieces that are a joy to wear.

Commonly worn in the pup and pet community as a ‘day collar’ to subtly flag membership, hold your pet tag, or symbolize deep relationships. As of May 2026 we’ve created and sold more than 234 custom collars!

We always bring some premade collars to sell at conventions as well as offering custom orders for future delivery. Some repairs or modifications can be offered on site, and we sell replacement clasps since it was a commonly requested item from folks who got their necklace elsewhere.

Chainmail Stealth Pup Collars

Nose rings and mustaches designed to personalize pup and pet hoods. Produced in-house using 3D printing technology, each piece is hand-sanded and finished to ensure clean edges and a refined appearance.

Roughed out with my CNC router and painstakingly finished by hand, these paddles are made of quality hardwoods for strength, durability, and beauty.

They include a paracord wrist strap for safety and storage, and some have paracord handle wraps for extra grip and comfort.

Paddles feature hardwood and resin inlays, as well as relief carvings to leave a mark.

Each paddle is numbered for quality control.

Wood is a renewable, durable material that offers warmth and character in an increasingly plastic world. We create coasters, phone stands, and other small-batch wooden goods designed for everyday use, combining CNC precision with careful hand-finishing.

We minimize material waste by repurposing scrap wood, paracord, and chainmaille into small accessories such as pins, magnets, and keychains.
